In trying to trace my family roots and that of my other relatives I find it very frustrating that the people in our elected Government are finding all kinds of excusses and using the access to information as a shield. There is and it has been proven that there is no reason or promise of SECRECY in the census. The only promise made was that the person at the time of inumerating them would not disclose any of the persons information.
90 years have passed. These people are all dead and many would not care if the information was made known today. There are too many stumbling blocks in the Access to Information and these should be cleared up and corrected by this committee.
